Obviously it has been a couple days since I have lost blogged. Nathan, Reese, and I took a little family trip. We headed off to Magnolia to go to an "America" and "Christopher Cross" concert. The concert was actually Saturday night, we got in town on Friday evening. Nathan and Brian cooked an amazing dinner. We all just hung out and enjoyed each others company. It was a nice relaxing evening. I also barely got to hold my little girl, because her Aunt Holly was having the time of her life! She fed her, changed her, bounced her around when she was cranky...every little thing Holly did. It was so awesome to watch her take care of Reese. Below youll see a picture of them two and notice that Reese is holding her bottle ALL BY HERSELF!! So cute, if I must say so myself. haha

Saturday we had planned to leave and head out to the Sam Houston Racetrack around 1 oclock. Which case we would drop off little Reese at Aunt Leah's first and then head down. However Nate and I got caught up playing with Belle and Jack outside. Poor Jack, he had been cooped up in the apartment because he hangs out with Reese and I all day...so he was having the time of his life running around and chasing Belle and running with Nate on the golf cart. Needless to say, we finally left the house around 230 or so and headed to Aunt Leah's. We got there and visited with Mimi, Leah, and the girls for quite sometime. It was very nice. Although I am sad that I didnt think to take out my camera and take some pictures of them holding Reese! :( Hopefully we will make it down to Houston again soon, and for sure I will then. We got down the racetrack about 5. Just in time for Nate to bet on two races and lose 80 bucks! Oh well....he had a good time. The concert started around 8. I really had no idea who we were really seeing, but when they came on I definitely recognized some of the songs. Christopher Cross was amazing. (hints the title of this blog) I never knew he sang the song "sailing." America was good as well. Quite older guys but still put on a pretty good show. :) We all had a great time and it was good to get out for a night while the family watched our little girl. I did, however, texted Aunt Leah quite a few times to check on Reese. Not that I ever doubted there babysitting skills, just for my piece of mind. :) I am so glad they got to watch Reese and spend some time with her. And that Reese was not a huge fuss bucket while she was there.
The horses coming out before the next race started.
We were convinced that this was Uncle Mark! haha
Me and Nate waiting for the concert to start.
How Brian watched the whole "America" performance. ha<>
