Getting Ready for Our First Road Trip

So since I wrote last I have been running around like what feels like, a chicken with my head cut off! We did some pictures on Sunday and since I have been trying to get us all ready to head to Fort Worth this week for Jen and Bo's wedding. It is quite stressful to get ALL of us ready...figure out outfits, make sure Nate's fit AND match, blah blah, the list goes on. As much as I feel so scattered brained and crazy, I love my life and like the crazy life. Today Reese and I went to Texas State to meet with my advisor. What a reality check...ha ha. Parking, changing her diaper, taking out my handy dandy stroller, and pushing it across campus! I NEVER in a million years saw myself there, but I loved it and embraced it. Life happens! and mine is! My advisor, Amy, loved Reese and boy was Reese just flirting away with everyone she saw. She was such a good girl today. Smiling and giggling at anyone that talked to her. We went to eat lunch with Brandy and Katie. Reese just napped and then woke up and smiled some more. She and I headed home. I was really wanting to get somethings done but she wasn't having it, so we napped. I put on a load of wash and then gave her a bath. THEN tried putting her in the swing, nope wasn't having that either! I got frustrated and sat down with her on my legs like I usually do and watched TV. I looked down at her and got teary eyed and just wanted to cry. She was dozing off to sleep, and would occasionally open her eyes and look up at me, like she was making sure I was still there. It is indescribable the way it made me feel. I sat there for about another hour and carried her to bed. The pictures below are kind of random throughout the past couple of days. Doing stuff here and there and spending time with my loves in between. Tomorrow Reese and I will leave for Fort Worth. Our first road trip just her and I. Should be quite interesting! Then Nate will fly up Friday morning and enjoy the rest of the weekend with us. Then Papa will come up Saturday to watch Reese. After the reception starts they will head back to the hotel and hit the sack. Should be fun, until then...enjoy the pictures and I will have lots to say and post when we return Sunday. Ha. Random...this is a loaf of sourdough bread. From the previous posts, I told you Nate is making wine. Well from those grapes he has started our own yeast from the left over grapes and it makes (my favorite) sourdough bread. He set it, and told me when it rose almost to the top to start it...WELLL I came home from meeting mom with Jack and this is what I found. ooopppss. I cleaned it up and baked it...still tastes amazing. :)

I took this, this morning. When Nate changes her diaper after he gets up he usually just leaves her in her diaper for a little bit. She was just enjoying laying there and smiling away. Again...I must say...SO CUTE :)
