Mid-Week Trip to Magnolia

On Tuesday morning our family left to head out to Magnolia for Nathan's 25th birthday. We were going down there to see Coldplay, one of his favorite bands, at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion. We left as soon as possible so we could spend sometime relaxing and family could see Reese. We got there, changed, and headed out to the pool. Reese has not shown any signs of extremely sensitive skin and I lathered her up in some baby sun screen and she went for her first little "swim." I even found her a bathing suit that fit when I went shopping for Nathan's birthday. PS I came back with four bags for Reese and two for the birthday boy. :)

MY FAVORITE PICTURE THUS FAR OF REESE AND HER DADDY! Absolutely priceless! True love!

Reese's 1st time in the pool! I had to get it on tape for Reese to view down the road.

NATHAN'S 25th BIRTHDAY...

That evening Brian, Nate's dad, cooked a marvelous fish dinner for us. Sandra and her family came over and we celebrated Nathan and Gerry's, Sandra's son, birthday. It was a great time.

Us before dinner. Please notice how my left shoulder is wet...Reese is teething and drooling like CRAZY!

Wednesday morning we slept in just a bit. We then headed over to Aunt Leah's to visit the girls, Mimi, and OB. Also to give OB his birthday present because his follows Nate's on the 23rd. We had some good Chinese food take-out over there for lunch and got to visit for a couple hours before we headed home to get ready for the Coldplay concert.

Reese :)
Anna and Kayla with Reese. They are so great at helping to take care of her. Anna even got in there and helped me change a DIRTY diaper!

Wednesday evening, Nate and I dropped Jack and Reese off over at Sandra's house around 6:45pm and we headed out to The Woodlands for the concert. We met over at our friend Juddy's house and left from there. Just as we were walking out the door it started POURING rain. Thankfully it was only temporary and we had a wonderful time at the conert. Coldplay was amazing! Afterward we went to pick up our girl. She was sound asleep and slept through getting in the carseat for the ride home. She looked so precious.

Overall we had a wonderful "weekend." I am so thankful Nathan and I have come so far and have been able to give Reese such a loving home and family environment. I look forward to what God has in store in for us, and cant wait for our future and lives together.
