Another CRANKY Day!

So today Lauren, our personal photographer :)/Nate's friend from high school/one of my good friends now, was in town to make a quick visit and she was so nice to suggest we do a couple pictures of Reese since she was already here. We got some cute ones of just her and we also did a couple family shots, including even Jack as well. :) I am excited to see them. And although I skipped out on meeting for lunch before pictures so Reese would not miss her not nap time, she was VERY persistent on not taking one. Needless to say, she never got a nap in except for a brief cat nap while we ate lunch and continued shooting.

After Lauren left so old family friends of ours stopped by for a quick visit and Reese fell asleep while they were here. Right as they left Reese and I hit the couch and napped for a couple hours. These past couple of days have definitely shown me I am not back to normal, STILL! I have just felt sooo tired and blahhh...

I was able to cheer Reese up by getting her in the bath. She loved it of course, and this is probably the cutest video of her yet. She was just talking away, I thought it was soo cute. Then I got her out, she cried, ate real quick, and is now back asleep. Hopefully she will sleep good tonight also since she slept most of the afternoon.

Yesterday Reese and I spent the day in Waco with Nana, Papa, and Uncle Ryan. Mom and I had a hair appointment at 1, I needed to shop for Jen's wedding this weekend, and Ryan was doing a baseball camp at Baylor University. It turned out to be quite a busy and rushed day because I wanted to get alot done and we didn't leave Waco till 9pm...and if you have read previous blogs, you know, that is a HUGE no no! It was past Reese's bath time and getting close to bed time and neither had happened. I finally got her to fall asleep in the car, I hurried home, got her in the bath because we sweat alot outside, and off to bed she went. So glad we got to see the fam.

...and Uncle Ryan with Reesey. He is so good at getting her to smile. It is awesome to watch her take care of her. All three of them were passing her around throughout the day, no one could get enough of her. So cute! She is loved soooo very much!
