Last week in the bath Reese actually "laughed" twice. It was the most adorable thing, and I could've cried then. It absolutely melted my heart. Well tonight after we did the oatmeal thing, it was time for a bath. When we are back in Bremond I (well Nana) bathes her in their tub. Its much bigger and easier than mine and Ryan's. So as I was getting her bath stuff together, mom had her laying on the bed and was talking to her. Reese was just smiling away and looking around everywhere. Having the time of her life. Mom started tickling her to make her smile and she started REALLY laughing! Oh my goodness! I have never felt a feeling like this in my life. Having a family of my very own...a beautiful baby girl, a wonderful man (that I one day plan to call my husband and who is a wonderful daddy to our daughter), and amazing family support...but wow to hear your child laugh is absolutely amazing! I just wanted to squeeze her and tell her how much I love her. I wish Nate could have been here to see it, but he is working and finishing up his last four days at Hyatt.
Which PS...Nate is about done cooking and about to start a business venture with a family friend of their's. Briefly...they will be recycling restaurant wastes, composting the food, and stuff. His hours will be MUCH more flexible for me to finish up school and get to spend sooo much more quality time with our wonderful daughter.
