Reese meet Dutchess
Yesterday Nana and Papa were at work all day and it was me, Reese, and Ryan home for the day. We really didnt do too much. Just hung out and enjoyed each others company. Reese did get a little cranky at some point so I decided to set her out on the floor and give her some "tummy time." The doctor has suggested we do this since she was just two months old to get her strong. I have tried numerous times, however Reese does not care for it too much. Now that she is getting stronger and much more of a personality she lasts a little longer. So I got a couple toys out and Dutchess decided to come check things out. She is our English Mastiff and the sweetest thing ever. It was cute. She laid down off the blanket and SLOWLY moved her way in. Here a couple pictures from that experience. Reese loved it and laughed the whole time. You think she'd get scared with a big oh "galoot" hovering over her but they both did great.
New Toy!!!
In addition to meeting Dutchess, Nana and Papa came home from work with a new toy for Reese. Mom saw it at the store and said, "oooo we'll buy it later." She went on her way to continue shopping and the next thing she knew dad was carrying it over to put it in the cart. ha ha It's her first real toy that she has gotten to actually stay at their house. She tried it out for a bit today and really seemed to like it. She has not quite figured out that she can spin, just gets focused in on one thing and stares. As she gets older Im sure she will be bouncing away.
Well after all the events from above, we also had some family friends from Magnolia come up for the day today. Mom made homeade burgers and buns. I mowed the lawn, we all just hung out, and sat outside on the porch once it cooled off a bit. They left about 830 and Reese was getting cranky. I got her in the bath, tried some oatmeal, and OUT she went on Papa's lap.
She is not quite all the way out. She kept opening and closing her eyes to make sure she was not missing out on anything. :)
