So Reese is now four and a half months old and I have FINALLY finished her room. There is a couple little things here and there Id like to do, but for the most part it is done! My excuse for not getting it done right when we moved in is...She started out sleeping on my chest for the first two months, and then she went to her bassinet at our bedside. During the day when I could have worked on her room, I could have worked on it but she would not allow much of anything but holding her. Nathan's new job is much better hours as well. So my mom came up and Nathan was able to watch her while we hung stuff and decorated. I am pretty happy at how well it turned out. It took some getting used to her being in another room. I only slept on the couch two nights so I was closer to her. :)
Her room is actually a "den" space off our living room so thats why I put curtains up to somewhat section off her room from everything else. We had some friends of ours over a couple nights ago and Reese went to bed, I closed the curtains, and she was good.
I think it would look better with painted walls, but seeing how live in an apartment and Ive to repaint them when we leave...I wasnt gonna do that.
Her crib. I had everything done pretty much before we went to Chicago except the crib because it had not come in yet, but Nate had it all put together for us the night we got home! :)
