CHI-TOWN...
This last week Reese, mom, and I took a trip to Chicago to visit family before school started back up this coming Wednesday. We went from Tuesday through Saturday. Although we were there for five days, the time flew by like I knew it would. The stays are never long enough. Reese did fly for her very first time though. I was nervous because I know my ears popping is uncomfortable for me and I was worried that she would be "that baby" on the flight. However on the way there and the flight back she did great! On both flights she took a little nap during and when her ears would start to pop and she would become just a little cranky mom would give her a bottle and she would willingly take it. The trip was a great time, and it was so good to see family. Nathan and I are planning a trip for Thanksgiving so Nate can meet more of my family. Below are quite a few pics over the course of our trip. Enjoy!
Walking through the airport. This Bjorn is the best thing ever for times like that. Reese conked out, and off we went. The next time I faced her forward for the first time and she was looking around everywhere.
and we landed in Chicago and she was fascinated by everything outside. She stared out there from the time we landed till we got off the plane.
Sitting in a booster chair at dinner. My girl is getting so big. Nana had to help her stay up a little, but she'll be doing it on her own in no time.
The beautiful sunset in Chicago looking off Omit's balcony. I wish those dang power lines weren't in, but it's still a pretty sky.
Visiting The Howland Family; Aunt Daina and Uncle Jim's house and their four wonderful kiddos
...and visiting the Karss and Siemers family; our cousins

CARROT TIME!
We went to the doctor the week before we went and Reese gets to start trying a new food each week. This week it was carrots. It was fun and the pictures were cute because it looked like she got attacked by one. ha ha
Love this! Absolutely tooo cute! Reese put her arm like this on her own!
Nana and her girl
Reese riding with Omit while we went shopping
and after going and going for the past couple of days, Reese was EXHAUSTED and Omit did not want to put her down. It was so precious.
A video of Holly talking and playing with Reese. It is quite short, and I know you cant see it very good, but listen to Holly at the end...kids say the darnedest things. So cute! So glad I got it on camera.
